WPHacks
We all know WordPress blogs can be a real mess to maintain; that’s why WPHacks was made to simplify the WPT process. WordPress has many plug-ins to help with everything from site creation, through to editing existing posts. However, with so many plug-ins out there it can be easy to lose track of certain ones, and end up having to add them again at some later date. That’s why WPHacks was created, to automate the tedious WPT process for you, making life easier for both you and us web developers.
WordPress has a built in ‘author box’ for each author, which is a great feature, but what if you want to customize your own author box? Sure you could add more comments or even use a customised template, however, this takes time to do correctly and it’s something that a lot of users tend to lose interest in very quickly. With WPHacks, this is completely disabled. You can instead create unique author boxes for each post within your blog. This makes WPHacks a must have for any WordPress user, no matter how advanced or simple your site.
The most popular plugin is called WPHacks Basic, which is an incredibly simple to use WordPress plugin. It allows you to remove author boxes, comments, and any other WordPress plug-in support that you might need. Now, this plugin won’t automatically disable your other plugins using code either, you have to enable it first. All you have to do to make sure your other themes load is simply click on the’Disable WPHacks Basic’ option on the bottom right hand corner of your screen. It’s a quick and easy step that enables you to keep using your selected theme and never have to worry about being unable to view posts or using author box styling.
